1. Who we are
FreightBlast is an outbound marketing platform operated by Doft Inc. For business data we process on behalf of our customers we act as a processor; for our own marketing and account data we act as a controller.
2. What we process
- Business records — company identity, operating authority, equipment, lanes and public operating history from the Doft freight graph.
- Business contact details — work e-mail addresses, business phone numbers and role, with a record of where each came from and how confident we are in it.
- Interaction records — deliveries, replies, conversation history in the Conversion Room, opt-outs and goal outcomes.
- Account data — the name, e-mail and workspace of people who use the product, and billing records.
3. Provenance is recorded, not assumed
Every contact record carries where it came from and when. We do this because a contact whose origin cannot be shown cannot be defended — to the person, to a provider, or to a regulator.
4. Who we share with
Messaging and voice providers, payment processing (Stripe), cloud infrastructure (AWS) and the model providers used for AI features. We do not sell personal data, and we do not export consent evidence or phone numbers to advertisers.
5. Retention
Interaction and conversation records are retained for the life of the customer workspace and then purged on a scheduled job. Suppression records are kept longer on purpose: forgetting that somebody opted out would let us message them again, which is the opposite of what they asked for.
6. Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to processing. Where FreightBlast processes data on behalf of a customer, we will route the request to that customer and support them in answering it. Write to privacy@freightblast.ai.
7. Opting out of messages
Use the unsubscribe link in any e-mail, or reply STOP to any text message. The opt-out applies across the whole programme, not just the campaign that reached you. See the messaging disclosure.
